For those willing to set the alarm a little earlier this morning there was an opportunity to listen to a presentation by one of Western Australia’s best known business names, Dale Alcock, whilst enjoying breakfast at the Hotel Clipper.
He was in Rockingham this morning as part of The Rockingham Kwinana Chamber of Commerce – Key Leaders in Business Breakfast Series. The chamber holds a number of these events every year, in partnership with the City of Rockingham. As the head of one of Australia’s largest residential building companies, and as the current President of the Fremantle Dockers, Mr Alcock shared his views on business, leadership and motivation.
Prior to the keynote, a short update was provided by Rockingham Mayor, Barry Sammels. He covered a variety of topics including the fallout from the Mangles Bay Marina being rejected, including what decisions will need to be made next in regards to what will happen in Cape Peron, the Renaissance Technopole and, the upcoming Rockingham Foreshore redevelopment.
