The Rockingham Arts Centre will host ART ON THE MOVE touring exhibition Creations from the man cave by artist Neil Elliott from 19 October to 2 November. The exhibition encourages people to become interested in art and the use of recyclable materials.

City of Rockingham Mayor Barry Sammels encouraged residents to visit the exhibition throughout October and November.

“As a City we are focused on creating a sustainable environment for future generations and recycling plays an important role in this, so we are delighted to welcome the Creations from the man cave touring exhibition to the Rockingham Arts Centre,” Mayor Sammels said.

“Throughout the exhibition Mr Elliott teaches the skills associated with recycling, upcycling and repurposing to help people feel empowered to create their own art.

“Recycling has many environmental and social benefits so we encourage residents to come down to the Rockingham Arts Centre and change their perspective about art and recycling.”

As part of the exhibition, Mr Elliott will also feature in a community artist talk at the Rockingham Arts Centre on 24 October from 6pm – 7pm.

Bookings are essential.
